  Important Design & Installation Considerations

  1. Power supply sizing: Calculate the combined wattage of all connected modules and select a compatible power supply with suitable reserve capacity.

  2. Track compatibility: Ensure the track, magnetic modules, connectors and power feed belong to the same compatible electrical and mechanical system.

  3. Dimming compatibility: Confirm that the driver, power supply and control system support the specified dimming protocol.

  4. Lighting design: Select beam angles, colour temperature, lumen output and glare-control accessories according to the application.

  5. Ceiling coordination: Check recess depth, plasterboard details, suspension height and driver accessibility before installation.

  6. Safety: Use the manufacturer’s installation instructions and suitable electrical protection.  A 48V track should not be assumed to be compatible with another manufacturer’s system simply because both are rated 48V.
